NDIS
Our physiotherapists are registered NDIS providers. For information regarding Grow Strong and the NDIS, go here
Private Health Insurance
Services are eligible for Private Health insurance rebate (based on individual cover – please contact your provider for details). We are unable to claim your PHI rebate for you but provide an itemised receipt for your claim.
Medicare
Medicare rebates are also available using the EPC/CDM care plan available from your GP (conditions apply – please enquire regarding details). For more information, please go here

Requirements
In accordance with requirements, all our physiotherapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have a current Working with Children’s check.
Our physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Our physiotherapists all have the required level of insurance and complete the AHPRA mandated amount of continuing professional development
Payment
All payments are due at the time of service unless other agreement in place. We take cash, AMEX MasterCard or Visa using the Square Up system.
We will issue a receipt after your session for your records and to claim any rebates
Cancellation Policy
Where reasonable, the physiotherapist must be informed 48 hours prior to your appointment time of any need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so may result in the client being charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the session fee (including the allocated travel time)
We do appreciate that sometimes children fall sick at the last minute. We will consider last minute cancellations on an individual basis.
If the therapist travels to your home & you are not present, you will be charged a full session fee to cover time & expenses.
Consent
It is a legal requirement that we obtain permission from the client prior to commencing physiotherapy. Where the client is under 18 years of age, consent must be obtained from their legal parent or guardian.
By accepting the services of Grow Strong Children’s Physiotherapy, you consent to the following:
- Allow Grow Strong Children’s Physiotherapy to observe, assess & provide intervention to the client
- Allow Grow Strong Children’s Physiotherapy to liaise with relevant others (eg health professionals, teachers, carers, aids) in order to provide effective intervention. This may include discussion, consultation, training & provision of reports. This will always be discussed with you prior.
- Allow Grow Strong Children’s Physiotherapy to use the provided email as a means of communication
- Wherever possible, we would encourage the use of your own camera for taking photos and video. On occasion and only with discussion, you consent to allow Grow Strong Children’s Physiotherapy to use photographs/videos in the course of providing intervention. These will only be used for the client’s own program & will not be shared without further consent.

Privately Funded Clients
Initial Consultations
- We generally need 50-60 minutes for our initial consultations however in certain circumstances, the session may run a little longer
- Initial Extended Consultations $260 (for children requiring individualised exercise programs, liaising with medical teams and more detailed follow up and support)
- Initial Consultations $230
Ongoing Consultations
- Ongoing consultations run for between 15 and 60 minutes in length
- 60 minute session = $230
- 45 minute session = $181
- 30 minute session = $132
- 20 minute session = $100
Consultation Fees Info
- All consultation fees include up to 10 minutes of travel time for our therapists
- Additional travel time is charged at a cost of $35 per 10 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes
- Every effort will be made to minimise any additional travel time costs
- All session times listed are inclusive of 5-10 minutes of administrative time (eg a 60 minute session is 50 minutes of face to face time
